Edvin Marton to hold concert in Romania
Hungarian violinist and composer Edvin Marton, known for his shows performed together with ice-skater Evgheni Plushenko, will perform September 28 at the Palace Hall in

Marton is considered one of the most successful violinists in the world.
A winner of the "Golden Violin" and a 2006 Emmy, the artist's regular performances at the World Skating Championships with Evgheni Plushenko, the current holder of the world and Olympic titles, are viewed on television by over 280 million people around the world.
At the same time, Marton has also performed together with world-renowned musicians such as Seal, Placido Domingo, Gloria Gaynor and Zucchero.
Marton's Romanian concert will be performed on an Antonio Stradivarius violin dating from 1698, estimated at no less than four million dollars.
It was donated to the artist until the end of his life by the Swiss Bank.
In the entire world there are only eight violins of this quality, most of them in museums.
Marton is one of the few Hungarian performers to have managed in the last couple of years to make a career on the international circuit.
