什麼是Art on ice？

所謂的Art on ice是一個類似滑冰表演的活動，在1995年的時候首辦，由音樂家與花式滑冰的運動員們聯合演出，在當時被認為是一種革命性的創舉目前已經被世界公認為一個大型且重要的滑冰盛會。最初發起人是：Coop City(似乎是商業單位)

合夥人包含了許多在歐陸發行的雜誌商、瑞士廣播電台、甚至還有洛桑外交部

 With up to 60% of the music - ranging from classical to rock - played live, such stars as Chris de Burgh, Vanessa-Mae, Sarah Brightman, Barclay James Harvest, members of Supertramp, Zucchero and SEAL experience their songs being interpreted in dance form by elite ice skaters.

另外要提的是，現在主辦單位應該是瑞士當局，每次的盛會都是在永遠的中立國─瑞士的蘇黎世舉辦，網站的主頁也非常偏心(笑)的擺上蘭比爾，而不是金光閃閃的冬奧兼N屆世界冠軍的普魯申科。不過2005的票上是以普魯申科為主打的，2006的票則是蘭比爾。目前2007的票也已經開始販售，但是網站上看不到2007的票樣。 

官方網站上也會列出歷屆參予盛會的音樂家以及滑冰家們的名字，而不知道該不該說並不讓我意外的是──音樂家的列表裏頭，並沒有艾德文‧馬頓的名字
